![]() Its a shame that the x100t didn't receive its own GPS receiver for automatically geotagging photos. Apple’s macOS High Sierra (aka macOS 10.13) is the newest version of Apple’s Mac and MacBook operating system. If you want geo tags, it would be quicker to snap a photo with your phone too to mark the general location of that time. Maybe the shooting experience is better with an android, or iPhone 6 (I am running it with a 4S), but the setup process is going to be the same. I have never had the geo tagged session last much longer than this. Once the phone is connected, and you don't accidentally back out of the cameras wifi menu (which turns off wifi and requires you to start over), you have to find the Fuji app on your phone, wait for it to open, and then once its open, click the geotagging option.Īt this point, any photos you take for the next 5-10 minutes have geo tags. I have never had my phone successfully Autojoin the cameras wifi network. This step takes a long time and requires carful timing between the phone and the camera. Then you have to unlock your phone and go to the settings and join your camera's wifi network. First you have to turn on the camera's wifi.
